Fremont Street

Golly, me, I just realized I didn’t share any of my fun photos from Fremont Street ( in Vegas)… so what better time than now! On the day we went, the sun was shinning and although a little chilly, it was a nice stroll down the nostalgic street.

If you have yet to be to the iconic Fremont Street, it is where all the “old” and original casino and hotels are, along with many of the old, retro signs that once hung proudly among the hussle and bustle of the 60’s and 70’s, but now decorate the the street.

Fremont Street is filled with tacky souvenir shops, old casinos, cheap food, and tons of tourists. There were a few cute bars we wanted to go to but they weren’t open, unfortunaley…but that gives me even more reason to go back!

You can also do some random fun things at Fremont Steet like ziplining and catching the light show and live music and performances. We just enjoyed the sights, a few drinks, and the crazy people watching.

Don’t ya just wish oh so bad you could have been there in the glory days? I’m sure it was magical and romantic in a dirty, skeezy way, that we really just can imagine… I’m keeping my fingers crossed that I can get back to Vegas in the summer with some girlfriends and get dressed up, sip cocktails, and dance the night away, every night
