The Art Gallery of Alberta has a late night party at least once a month, where they close down the art gallery to the public, have a themed party, and stay open later for the party goers.
This month the Art Gallery threw an extra fancy party – Noctorne, ‘a masked affair’.
“Revive the Gothic and channel the spirits of delight and decadence at the premiere of Nocturne, a masked affair. Don a mask and suspend reality in this evening of glamour inspired by the occultism of the Victorian era.”
The party included fortune telling, frightful films, mask making, a ‘haunted house’, tea leaf readings, cocktails, treats, and loot bags.
The Art Gallery was transformed into a mysterious, wonderland, where guest could roam in masks, sipping cocktails and enjoying the delights of the evening.
I recently purchased my second Stop Staring dress and it was perfect for the occasion. I found the perfect mask to match too!
I am so in love with this dress! I felt so good in it, like a million bucks! I wore a Rago waist cincher underneath to accentuate an hourglass figure, which made me feel even better- every girl should get one, they are amazing!
I snapped some more photos of the event to share…
I had so much fun, I’ve already bought my ticket to next months party- Funhouse
My friend and I got a photo in The Edmonton Journal as well…. check it out…we are socialites now – haha
