June 4: The Alberta Dames Modern Vintage Market – Held at the Rustic Rand Log Furniture LTD in Airdrie. You will find true vintage, repurposed, retro, and antique items. Plus mobile retail trucks and food trucks (yay!). Early bird tickets are $20 and get you in an hour before everyone else, plus a swap bag!

June 4: The Edmonton Pride Parade is back to kick off Pride week! Its starts at 11am and makes its way down Whyte Ave

June 11: Quote-A-Long: Hedwig & the Angry Inch at The Garneau Theatre. What a greay way to spend a Saturday night! Get your tickets here

June 17: Lolas night out at Rocky Mountain Icehouse: enjoy an evening of rock n roll and swinging tunes to get your foot moving and hips shaking! Read more about it here

June 17-21: Sugar Swing Summer Solstice Dance Festival – A five day long festivals filled with all the swing dancing you could ever want. There will be live music, swing lessons, and dancing into the night! Don’t forget to register!

June 22: Tiger Army at The Starlight Room. Psyhobilly band hailing from, where else but California. They played their first show in 1996 and have been making all the a-billy girls swoon ever since.

June 25: Swing Swing Swing! Featuring Peter and The Wolves at the Rocky Mountain Icehouse. Enjoy an evening of rockabilly and swing! Get dolled up. grab your gals, and head downtown for one swinging night! Only $7! read more about it here

May 12th: The Matadors – Horrorbilly trio from Ontario sure to get your feet moving and hips shaking, playing at the new DV8 above ground at Mama’s Pizza. Get tickets at the door.

May 13th: Laced Up Cabaret – Sweet Carousel Corsetry has cooked up a fabulous and fantastic showcase, featuring to die for NEW designs, along side local and international burlesque talent. VIP tickets are $49 and General Admission are $29 get them here

May 14th: Capital City Burlesque Presents Moustache Pride! Held at the Citadel Theater, this event is promised to be one of their best performances yet! Tickets are $30-$45 get them here

May 22nd- The Rocky Horror Picture Show at the Garneau Theater. If you have not seen this film in the theater yet, you have not lived! Get your tickets now as they always sell out! Tickets are $14 get them here

May 23: Old Strathcona Parking Lot Sale – the first of the summer! I always find great pieces and items for next to nothing. Get there early for the good stuff!

May 22-24: Breakfast at Tiffany’s at The Metro/Garneau Theater – a classic and personal favorite!

May 28th: The Mad Bombers 20 year anniversary at The Needle. Edmonton’s own famed ska band celebrate 20 years of original music and good times! This is sure to be a night to remember.

May 28th: Violette Underground Trois – a pop up speakeasy burlesque club. This elegant event will feature treats by duchess, burlesque, spoken word, and jazz. Tickets are $50-$75 get them here
